Sound Unsound Forums released its newest compilation album today, called "Flamenco Bastardo". It's a Flamenco themed mashup album. I appear on it with track 9 called "Way Ol Flamenco" which is a Flamenco take on Timbaland, Keri Hilson, and DOE's "Way I Are".
I had a conversation with one of my best friends not too long ago about how, since the September 11th attacks, the sound of an overhead airplane causes us to look up to check on it. This song's chorus makes me think of that, and how a plane's sound never used to put most Americans on edge before 9/11.
P.S. The cover image is from a news image of the unannounced Air Force One flyover that scared a lot of New Yorkers in April 2009. Air Force One, obviously, has been replaced by a paper plane (with the military jet escort). I'm attempting to move up my covers from Windows Paint, but I still am new to this program, so I accidentally compressed the crap out of it. Sorry.
